Stretch marks are bluish-red scars that appear on different surfaces of the skin, due to excessive stretching. They usually occur due to rapid weight gain, for example, in pregnant women or adolescents. Although they do not cause physical discomfort, they can be extremely unpleasant, since they change the appearance of the skin. Many women go to great lengths and spend a great deal of money to remove these scars, so that they can show off their skin without feeling ashamed.
What most women don’t know is that there are a variety of less expensive and natural remedies for stretch marks. Here is a list of the most effective:
1. Lavender oil
Massage the affected area with lavender oil at least three times a day. There is no need to remove it afterwards as it will be absorbed by the body after a while. If you want to wash it off, make sure you let it sit for at least 10 minutes before cleaning the area.
2.zinc
Eat foods rich in zinc: peanuts, beans, brown rice, whole grains. Zinc consumption is believed to be very effective in reducing stretch marks.
3. Aloe Vera
Rub the affected area with Aloe Vera gel, which is one of the best natural remedies for stretch marks. Apply this treatment daily, once or twice a day.
4. Almond, chamomile and lavender oil
Mix a few drops of almond oil with lavender and chamomile oil and massage the affected area with this mixture. It will reduce scarring and also rejuvenate your skin.
5. Olive oil and vitamin E
Use a cream that contains vitamin E and mix it with olive oil. Massage your body with this ointment every day, preferably before going to sleep, since olive oil takes time to be absorbed by the skin.
6. Natural creams for stretch marks
Another good way to get rid of stretch marks is to use natural stretch mark creams (I prefer Revitol). Many of them are very effective and less expensive than other treatments.
