When it comes to what’s going on in the world right now, there is no shortage of trouble. There are the issues that are routinely talked about in the mainstream media and those that are rarely, if ever, mentioned.
Furthermore, there are problems that are not mentioned by this source and therefore are not widely known. What this shows is how much influence the mainstream media have.
The main problems
With this in mind, when it comes to what the average person believes are the biggest problems right now, it can all depend on what has been fed into by this source of information. They could say that climate change is the main problem, while mentioning poverty, inequality and terrorism, among others.
Dealing with these problems will be essential and they may be happy to accept any solutions that your government and certain organizations come up with. To address these problems, several solutions have already been implemented.
A small part to play
So, apart from changing their behavior and agreeing with what the experts say, the public is not expected to do much about what is happening. The people at the top, the ones who seem to have all the power, will be the ones who can do the most.
Thanks to the exposure that is given to these subjects, many people turn to them. So what is happening externally will be what matters and what is happening internally will be overlooked.
Out of balance
In today’s world, an extremely extroverted world, not much thought is given to the effect that someone’s inner world has on their outer world and on the planet as a whole. It is as if what is happening in someone’s being has very little impact on what is happening externally.
Because of this, when it comes to changing the world, there will be no reason for someone to look at what is happening within themselves and deal with their inner baggage. This will only distract them from the actual work that needs to be done “out there.”
Separated from everything
The general opinion is that someone is only an observer of what is happening externally and therefore, although their behavior will have an effect on their environment, what happens in their mind will have no effect. The same point of view will also apply to another part of them, their unconscious mind.
However, although this vision is accepted by much of humanity, what if it is just an illusion? What if someone’s ego mind makes them see life this way so they can have their own experience on this earth and that’s it?
A different approach
If this is the case, it would mean that someone’s inner world is having an impact on the way they experience life and the situations, circumstances and events that they find themselves in. Not only this, what is happening within them will have an effect on the planet as a whole.
With this in mind, just changing their behavior will not be the best way for them to change the world; They will also need to change their inner world. When someone also walks in, they will go to the cause of a problem rather than purely focusing on the effects of the problem.
An analogy
Focusing only on what is happening externally and overlooking what is happening internally will be similar to focusing only on water dripping from the ceiling. Without a doubt, cleaning this water will help.
However, what will be much more effective will be to fix the leak so that the water stops flowing. If this does not happen, this problem will not be solved; in fact, it will probably get a lot worse.
Go to the root
To truly change the world, it will be essential for someone to take care of the hurt parts of themselves that play a role in what is happening ‘out there’. The parts of themselves that are too painful to deal with will have been pushed into their unconscious mind.
This inner material will not only create ‘negativity’ in your own life, it will also fuel the ‘negativity’ that is ‘out there’. What this means is that what happens within them always has an impact on the world, regardless of whether they are aware of what is going on internally or not.
A great part to play
With this understanding in place, someone can see that there is much you can do to change the world. Doing certain things will help and working through your own internal wounds and raising your own consciousness in the process will also help.
What can make the former more attractive than the latter is that going inward can be painful, while going outward can allow one to feel good and receive approval from others. Therefore, if you are truly committed to making a difference, you will not focus only on external issues.

Final thoughts
If one were just an observer of their reality, there would be no need for them to change themselves. But, as they are both the observer and the co-creator of your life, it will be up to them to play their part in what is happening “out there.”
